Our speaker this week, James Rubinstein, has been working on understanding how humans search for information since grad school. He has worked at eBay, Apple, Pinterest, and is now at LexisNexis, focusing on measuring and improving search relevance.
Many people are interested in improving the search experience on their websites, apps, or programs. However, a significant proportion don’t know where to start. This talk will give you some insights gleaned from James’ time working in search across ecommerce, web, and enterprise. We’ll discuss how to evaluate search relevance, measure search engagement, A/B test, prioritize improvements, and build a team to do all of that.
