Searchandising

Active product placement in search results, that may or may not already show up as a result of the search query. Searchandising is a portmanteau of search+merchandising, and can be done either manually by a merchandiser or product manager, or be driven algorithmically. Searchandising is typically used to show promotions and products that are discounted, Personalization and recommendations can also be considered types of searchandising.
