OpenSearch is a distributed search server built on Apache Lucene, originally forked from Elasticsearch and available under the open source Apache 2 license, with development led by Amazon Web Services. It provides a distributed, multitenant-capable full-text search engine with an HTTP web interface and schema-free JSON documents.
